You enjoy delicious Western and Indian cuisine cooked with Ayurvedic ingredients to nourish your soul. The ingredients are mostly natural, a lot of which come from Sitla Estate itself.

ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION

Sitla Estate is a charming 150-year old house on 39 acres of pure forestland, with delightful rooms overlooking a breath-taking vista of lush forest and orchards. Sitla offers the warmth of a home, in the peace and serenity of the Himalayas, in the Kumaon region in Uttarakhand.

The Estate also sponsors the education of children whose families have been declared to be below the poverty line.

 

DATES

We leave Delhi on Saturday 12th November, either by flight to Patnagar or by early morning train to Kathgodam. From there another 2,5 - 3 hours by car to reach the accommodation. The Yoga program starts the next day and ends on Saturday morning 19 November, when you travel back to Delhi again.

ABOUT THE TEACHER

Radhika Vachani is the founder of the “Yogacara Institute of Human Wellness and Yoga”, and also of the “Yogacara Centre of Health and Wellbeing”, in Mumbai. Her intention is to enhance human wellness, and to spread the authentic practices of Yoga and Ayurveda.

A devoted student of the Iyengar School of Yoga for 15+ years, Radhika believes, “Our breath is the most powerful tool in helping us achieve balance, inner strength, and calm in our lives.”

In her style of teaching she combines her training with 'life in the real world'-experiences, making her classes approachable and engaging for anyone.

TOUR FACTS

The retreat starts on Saturday 12th November and ends on Saturday 19th November 2016. Travel from Delhi to Sitla either by  flight to Patnagar or by early morning train to Kathgodam. From there another 2,5 to 3 hours by car to reach the accommodation. Based on your preference we can make the flight or train arrangements for you.
